Tier 3 Data Center
Houston, TX
This 365,000-square-foot Tier 3 data center was developed to support continuous 24/7 operations with a focus on sustainability and scalability. The facility includes four computer room cells, each designed with an electrical load capacity of 2.4 megawatts, expandable to 4.8 megawatts, ensuring adaptability to evolving technological demands.
The infrastructure features a parallel, redundant, and scalable utility system to maintain uninterrupted operations. Additional components encompass administrative offices, meeting and conference rooms, and a mechanical and electrical yard to support facility functions.
Site development included coordination of a new overhead power feed from the CenterPoint substation to an on-site substation, along with the implementation of a self-contained sanitary plant, potable well water system, and detention area. The project achieved LEED Gold certification, reflecting a commitment to environmental responsibility.
