Texas A&M University Reed McDonald Laboratory + Chemistry Department Master Plan + Phase 1
College Station, TX
A comprehensive master plan was developed to upgrade laboratory infrastructure, building systems, and shared support spaces, creating a clear framework for phased improvements across the department.

Phase one focused on renovating the 17,000-square-foot Reed McDonald Laboratory. The outdated facility was transformed into a high-performance instructional and research environment with all workstations replaced to support both organic and analytical chemistry. Flexible layouts were introduced to accommodate future research needs and evolving teaching methods.
Safety and compliance were prioritized through code-related upgrades aligned with current life safety standards. Electrical and data infrastructure was also replaced throughout the building to support advanced laboratory operations across all floors.
