Nevada State College Nursing, Science + Education Building + James E. and Beverly Rogers Student Center
Henderson, NV
To accommodate rapid enrollment growth and expand academic offerings, Nevada State College added two major campus buildings that modernize facilities and elevate the student experience.

The 62,000-square-foot Nursing and Science Education Building features specialized classrooms for nursing, science, and education programs, along with department offices and a 250-seat lecture hall. The flexible layout supports interactive, evidence-based learning and can adapt to meet future academic needs.
Next door, the 66,800-square-foot Student Center functions as the heart of student life. It brings together student services, executive administrative offices, a library and IT center, and a variety of informal gathering spaces. The building also includes a bookstore, a multi-use ballroom, and dedicated areas for student organizations and events.
Campus infrastructure improvements were integrated into the overall design, including new sidewalks, shaded outdoor plazas, and enhanced landscaping that promote walkability and year-round outdoor use. A new central plant was also constructed and sized to support future campus growth as outlined in the college’s master plan.
