Grundfos Headquarters Office Building
Brookshire, TX
In rural Texas, a new 48,670-square-foot regional headquarters reflects Grundfos’ commitment to sustainable innovation and responsible design. Replacing an outdated two-story office building, the campus introduces a modern workplace rooted in transparency, efficiency, and environmental performance.

Visitors enter through a ground-floor experience center with museum-style exhibits, orientation areas, and training spaces that highlight the company’s values and technologies. Above, open and flexible offices provide clear views of the surrounding landscape while supporting connectivity and well-being.
The site plan draws from hacienda-style organization, centering the building around a landscaped courtyard that strengthens the indoor-outdoor connection. Asymmetrical forms, clean lines, and a restrained material palette reflect Scandinavian modernist influences. A southern orientation maximizes daylight and frames natural views, while durable materials support long-term performance.
The remote setting served as a platform for sustainable innovation. Water-saving systems earned a LEED pilot credit, and efficient mechanical systems reduce energy use. Together, these features establish the campus as a regional model for environmentally responsible design.
Adjacent to the main building, the “Tech Building” serves as both a functional central plant and a hands-on educational gallery. It demonstrates Grundfos’ own systems in action and reinforces the headquarters’ role as a working sustainability showcase.
