Windermere Preparatory School Cypress Center for the Arts

The Cypress Center for the Arts stands as the focal point of Windermere Preparatory School’s campus - a two-story, 33,000-square-foot visual and performing arts facility designed to support a broad range of artistic programming.
At the heart of the facility is a 500-seat theatre designed for flexibility and optimal sight lines. The space features a combination of fixed raked seating and telescopic seating to accommodate varying performance formats.
The surrounding arts wing includes 12 teaching studios for 2D and 3D art, band, choir, ensemble, theatre, and dance instruction. Each space is designed to deliver high-quality acoustics and flexible teaching environments.
Additional program spaces include staff offices, green rooms, a scenic shop, and private practice rooms. Covered outdoor space at the building’s main entry opens to a central plaza, creating an expanded setting for instruction and community performances.
