A 10,300-square-foot renovation transformed the second floor of Heldenfels Hall into modern instructional space for the Departments of Biology and Chemistry. The project introduced ten new teaching laboratories, with five dedicated to biology and five to chemistry, along with prep rooms, chemistry support areas, and administrative offices.

The design emphasizes flexibility and durability, with preserved 1970s brick veneer complemented by new flooring, updated lighting, and integrated display cases. Infrastructure upgrades included a new HVAC system, upgraded electrical room, acoustic ceilings, and a secure Intermediate Distribution Frame (IDF) room to support audiovisual and building systems.
