South Montgomery County ESD No. 8 Station 11-6

This 8,500-square-foot fire station for South Montgomery County Emergency Services District No. 8 supports five full-time personnel with a secure, efficient layout that blends seamlessly into the surrounding planned community.
The station features two secured drive-through apparatus bays and a complete living program with a kitchen, living room, sleeping quarters, and administrative offices. Classic masonry detailing gives the exterior a neighborhood-sensitive character while establishing the building as a functional civic anchor.
To support the undeveloped 2.24-acre site, PGAL also designed site infrastructure that provides safe, direct access for emergency vehicles along the main thoroughfare. The result is an operationally efficient station tailored to the district’s growing needs and the community it serves.
