NAVFAC Camp Lejeune Stone Bay Bachelor Enlisted Quarters (BEQ)
Camp Lejeune, NC
Blending lodge-style interiors with the surrounding natural landscape, this 225-unit Bachelor Enlisted Quarters delivers a modern interpretation of the Georgian architectural style outlined by NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic.

Developed in partnership with Balfour Beatty, the project consists of two three-story residential buildings featuring 225 units designed to accommodate unaccompanied service members. The facility includes a multipurpose indoor space that supports group activities and training, along with site amenities such as cleaning stations, surface parking, and landscaped open areas that reinforce the connection to nature.
To improve circulation and base access, the site includes a connector road with a staffed gatehouse and bridge. The buildings are positioned to frame the nearby historic rifle range district, enhancing both context and visibility.
Throughout the design, durable materials and lodge-style interiors emphasize comfort, functionality, and respect for the natural surroundings, aligning with LEED-NC Gold standards and federal sustainability goals.
