Florida International University Bayview Housing
North Miami, FL
Bayview Housing delivers a nine-story, 410-bed residential complex that anchors Phase 1 of the university’s master plan. Positioned along the bay, the building offers panoramic views of the ocean to the east and state parkland to the north.
The ground floor functions as a student activity hub, incorporating three academic classrooms, office support space, a laundry room, gaming room, fitness center, computer lab, conference room, and a multipurpose club room with kitchenette. The open-plan lobby connects directly to an outdoor courtyard and a curvilinear pool with beach entry and a large sun deck, creating a vibrant social zone for student life.
Upper floors house student residences, organized from levels two through nine. The unit mix includes 24 studio apartments, 64 two-bedroom, one-bath units, and 64 two-bedroom, two-bath units. Each residential floor includes a sky lounge with expansive views, while the top floor features a central lounge with a cantilevered observation window overlooking the bay.
