Florida Atlantic University Barry & Florence Friedberg Lifelong Learning Center

The renovation of the Lifelong Learning Center at Florida Atlantic University’s Boca Raton campus focused on modernizing the facility to support the center’s evolving programming and long-term operational goals.
Interior improvements enhanced comfort and functionality throughout, including a new reception and waiting area, updated conference rooms, and a break room with an adjacent kitchen. Additional upgrades included refreshed restrooms, renovated offices, an executive suite, secure storage, a copy and supply room, a data entry area, and access to a walk-out terrace.
The project also addressed building performance with a full roof replacement and the installation of a new mechanical system to improve energy efficiency and indoor climate control. Together, these enhancements ensure the center continues to serve FAU’s lifelong learners in a welcoming, reliable, and well-equipped environment.
