City of Deer Park Emergency Operation Center Expansion + Police Department Renovation
Deer Park, TX
The City of Deer Park undertook a comprehensive expansion and renovation of its police department to enhance daily operations and strengthen emergency response capabilities.

A needs assessment identified the requirement for approximately 8,500 square feet of new space, paired with targeted interior renovations.
The new multi-use addition features a modern Emergency Operations Center (EOC), advanced dispatch facilities, and dedicated support areas. These functions were designed to centralize critical operations, streamline communication, and improve coordination among first responders, city officials, and outside agencies during emergencies. Integrated audio/visual systems enable seamless connection with federal, state, and local networks, supporting real-time communication and situational awareness.
Interior renovations transformed underutilized areas within the existing building. Former EOC and dispatch spaces were reconfigured to create a large conference and training room, while the records department was modernized and expanded. The project also included updated access control, video surveillance, and jail control systems across the facility.
