Adult Changing Room at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)
Newark, NJ
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey commissioned a 293-square-foot Adult Changing Room to enhance comfort, privacy, and accessibility for travelers with limited mobility and their caregivers.
Located on the concourse level, the private facility provides a dignified and fully accessible environment. Amenities include a height-adjustable adult changing table, accessible toilet, sink, hand dryer, and a dedicated waiting area with seating. Durable finishes—porcelain tile flooring, painted gypsum board walls, and stainless steel fixtures—support hygiene and ease of maintenance.
Exceeding ADA requirements, the Adult Changing Room creates a safe and supportive space for personal care, fostering a more inclusive and welcoming terminal environment.
