Morris, Manning & Martin LLP – Washington, D.C. Office Expansion

To support its growing presence in Washington, D.C., Morris, Manning & Martin LLP (MMM) expanded into an additional 4,260-square-foot suite on the third floor of 1401 Eye Street. Already occupying the entire sixth floor and part of the third, the firm required a fast-tracked solution that aligned with existing standards while enhancing workplace functionality.
Working from a client-provided test fit, the team advanced directly into construction documentation, refining the layout, finalizing finish selections, and incorporating additional programmatic needs. A retrofit solution was developed for frameless glass office fronts in Partner and Associate offices, improving acoustical privacy while preserving the intended aesthetic.
Custom millwork was designed for Secretarial stations, coordinated to match finishes across both floors for a cohesive visual identity. A curated furniture package blended seamlessly with existing installations, introducing new pieces for conference and training spaces to support growth and collaboration.
