PGAL Lands Among the Nation’s Top 4 Airport Architecture Firms
PGAL continues to make its mark among the nation’s largest aviation architecture and design practices, ranking #4 on Building Design+Construction’s 2026 list of the Top 75 Airport Facility Architecture Firms.
Published as part of BD+C’s annual Giants 400 Report, the ranking recognizes the nation’s largest architecture firms working in airport terminal design and aviation facilities.
For more than 60 years, PGAL has worked within some of the nation’s busiest and most complex aviation environments, contributing to major airport terminal programs, concourses, passenger and support facilities, and aviation infrastructure improvements. That depth of experience has also positioned the firm at the forefront of innovative project delivery, including large-scale prefabricated modular design and construction, phased implementation, and alternative delivery strategies that help accelerate schedules, improve constructability, and minimize impacts to ongoing airport operations.
As PGAL celebrates 80 years in practice, that position reinforces a longstanding strength of the firm: delivering complex aviation architecture and airport infrastructure projects at the scale of the industry’s largest practices while maintaining the focused, hands-on approach that has defined PGAL throughout its history.
