The project included a complete renovation of the original structure and the addition of a new guestroom tower, bringing the total room count to 208. Designed for flexibility, the new tower features 28 two-bedroom family suites with expanded living areas. Guests enjoy shared access to amenities with the adjacent Sheraton, creating a seamless resort experience.

A signature feature of the resort is the Water Tower rooftop terrace, positioned on one of Carlsbad’s highest elevations and offering panoramic ocean views. Additional amenities include flexible indoor and outdoor meeting spaces tailored for events of all sizes.

The resort also features an upgraded TWENTY/20 Grill, enhancements to the 24-hour Westin WORKOUT fitness studio, and the Ocean Pearl Spa, which offers marine-based botanical treatments and organic products focused on health and rejuvenation.
