The transformation introduced a new environment that enhances game-day energy while supporting long-term goals for recruitment, retention, and revenue generation. On the exterior, outdated precast panels were replaced with a curtain wall system that brings natural light into the arena and improves visibility from the outside. The upgraded façade strengthens the building’s identity and creates a more welcoming arrival experience.

Interior improvements focused on circulation, visibility, and fan engagement. Expanded lobbies on the northeast and southwest now function as open fan zones with food service, gathering areas, and better access to seating. The reconfigured bowl shifts mid-court seating closer to the action and adds floor-level student sections directly opposite team benches, intensifying game-day energy.

Upgrades also include more than 700 premium seats, advanced sports lighting, an enhanced audio system, improved video boards, and expanded concession and restroom facilities to serve capacity crowds efficiently.

The project was delivered in collaboration with AECOM, integrating sports-specific design expertise into a cohesive and high-performing venue.
