United Airlines Terminal B Transformation Program at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
Houston, TX
As part of United Airlines’ Terminal B Transformation Program at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), PGAL is leading the design of the new Terminal B North Concourse, reimagining how travelers move, connect, and experience air travel.

The three-level, 765,000-square-foot facility is designed for flexibility, comfort, and inclusion. It will provide 22 gates for narrow-body equivalent aircraft and introduce the largest United Club in the airline’s network.
Passenger wellness and accessibility are central to the design, with dedicated spaces for travelers with special needs, an interactive multimedia play area, and a sensory room. The new development includes 105,000 square feet of concessions anchored by two 20,000-square-foot hubs that will bring together dining and retail options to create an amenity-rich experience for every type of traveler.
Built to serve up to 36 million passengers annually, Terminal B North is a key component of United’s $2.6 billion investment at IAH.
As you know there is a reason PGAL was selected as Continental’s design team for Terminal B. We appreciate that regardless of project size and complexity PGAL will complete on time and within budget. These are tough times for the industry and now more than ever we are relying on you to cut to the chase, maximize our budget and exceed our customer’s expectations.
