United Airlines Master Architect’s Service Agreement

Since 2014, United Airlines has trusted PGAL under a Master Architect’s Service Agreement to support projects across its national airport network. Renewed in 2018 and 2025, the agreement includes a renewable three-year term with an optional one-year extension.

PGAL has worked at major hubs including EWR, IAD, DCA, IAH, DEN, LAX, PHL, TPA, STL, and MSY, taking on a wide range of assignments from terminal assessments and tenant improvements to lounge design, customer processing upgrades, and airline support facilities.
United’s growing network and evolving terminal needs call for designs that are both flexible and efficient. PGAL helps deliver that balance through work like the Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) program at IAH, where we reconfigured ticket lobbies in Terminals B, C, and E to add self-service kiosks, streamline baggage handling, and improve flow. Close coordination with United’s Airport Operations team helped us tailor each space to real-world demands.
