The Anamar at Collins Park
Miami Beach, FL
Located in the heart of Miami Beach’s cultural district, The Anamar at Collins Park transforms an underutilized municipal lot into a dynamic model for workforce housing. PGAL partnered with developer Servitas, Design Architects Shulman & Associates, and the City of Miami Beach to deliver a thoughtful, community-driven solution that blends residential design with cultural infrastructure.

The seven-story, mixed-use building provides 80 units in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations. These residences address the rising demand for attainable housing for essential workers in the region. A second-floor program offers dormitory-style housing and amenities for Miami City Ballet dancers, with a private stair and screened patio providing direct, secure access to the Ballet campus across the street.
The building’s bright, sculpted façade features recessed accent slots and playful, cantilevered balconies that activate both the street and park-facing elevations. At the ground level, an art-focused retail space, inviting lobby, on-site management office, and mailroom establish a strong community presence. A fitness center overlooks a private outdoor lawn, creating space for wellness and connection.
Surrounded by cultural landmarks including The Bass Museum, Miami City Ballet, and the Miami Beach Regional Library, The Anamar supports a walkable, transit-connected lifestyle. Its integration of housing, arts, and public partnership reflects PGAL’s collaborative approach to resilient, context-sensitive urban design.
