As part of a campus-wide modernization effort, the terminal introduced 14 new aircraft gates, including seven swing gates designed to accommodate wide-body international flights. Infrastructure was also designed to support an adjacent 30-gate concourse connected via an underground Automated Transit System, allowing for flexible gate operations.

The Federal Inspection Services (FIS) area processes up to 1,600 international arrivals per hour, meeting U.S. Customs and Border Protection Model Ports of Entry standards and supporting Global Entry travelers. Additional features include multiple security checkpoints, in-line baggage screening systems, inbound and outbound baggage systems, and a full range of passenger amenities such as dining, retail, and gaming.

The terminal is supported by a new roadway network, structured parking, and a central utility plant that serves all connected facilities.
