South Montgomery County ESD No. 8 Fire Station 11-2

Designed to operate 24/7, the single-story structure also includes a small police substation and full backup power to ensure continuous service.

Four double-depth, pull-through apparatus bays accommodate a range of vehicles, including three standard bays and one outfitted for a 107-foot Quint Engine. Interior spaces are organized for efficiency and firefighter wellness, with day crew offices, a fitness area, kitchen and laundry facilities, and five private bunk rooms.

Additional program elements include a FEMA-rated safe room, restrooms, a workshop, and flexible support areas to accommodate personnel across three shifts. The design balances safety and functionality with a neighborhood-sensitive aesthetic, enhancing both public service delivery and community presence.
