Working closely with MWAA stakeholders, the design utilized a pre-engineered structure to maximize interior volume while minimizing internal columns. Located on a greenfield site, the 510-by-170-foot facility was strategically planned to accommodate the airport’s specialized fleet of snow removal equipment, providing secure storage and weather protection.

The project also incorporated advanced fire protection, mechanical ventilation, electrical distribution, and telecommunications systems. Each element was developed in coordination with MWAA to meet operational standards and regulatory requirements, with an emphasis on durability, sustainability, and ease of maintenance.

In addition to the primary structure, site improvements included utility infrastructure, stormwater management systems, new asphalt access roads, and surrounding apron pavements, ensuring seamless integration with the airport’s systems and improved operational readiness.
