The scope included four entrance and exit ramps, a 1,600-linear-foot bridge spanning a bayou, and significant flood mitigation improvements.

The project scope included four entrance and exit ramps, a 1,600-linear-foot bridge spanning a bayou, and a 1,200-linear-foot overpass bridge engineered to withstand 100-year flood events. To address elevation changes and site constraints, PGAL designed 7,500 linear feet of variable-height retaining walls. The team also incorporated extensive storm drainage systems, hydrologic studies, and detention ponds to manage runoff and mitigate flood risk.

In close coordination with HCTRA, TxDOT, the general engineering consultant, and specialty consultants, PGAL performed comprehensive cost and schedule analyses. This collaborative approach ensured seamless integration across disciplines and timely project delivery.
