PrepKitchen Little Italy
San Diego, CA
Located in the heart of San Diego’s Little Italy, PrepKitchen Little Italy is the third and largest installment of the concept, occupying a 5,000-square-foot second-floor space shaped into a warm, eclectic dining environment that reflects the neighborhood’s vibrant character.
Inspired by a nearby antique shop, the design evokes the charm of a personal study with reclaimed finishes, whimsical tile, and salvaged architectural elements. Exposed beam ceilings and unfinished metal pillars add a subtle industrial edge, balanced by natural wood accents and abundant daylight from large corner windows overlooking the busy streetscape.
The open layout includes an exhibition kitchen, a private dining room, and a full-service bar, the only one among the PrepKitchen locations, creating a dynamic yet intimate setting for guests.
