OTG Concessions in Terminal C North at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

The scope focused on seamless execution across the terminal’s central concessions area.

The program introduced eight distinct restaurant and retail concepts totaling more than 10,000 square feet, along with ramp-level support spaces. PGAL’s responsibilities included program coordination, base building integration, specialty contractor oversight, phasing, permitting, and closeout.

Public-facing venues are positioned within a 95-foot-wide concessions hall that functions as a bridge to the South Concourse. This space overlooks the airfield and roadway, offering travelers panoramic views framed by 34-foot ceilings and 28-foot exterior glass walls. The layout enhances flow between the terminal’s central atrium and surrounding hold rooms.

Each concept was tailored to reflect Houston’s culture and identity, incorporating custom, Texas-inspired design elements that elevate the passenger experience. PGAL worked closely with the base building team to preserve key architectural features and align the new concessions with the original design intent.
