Kaluz – Pembroke Pines
Pembroke Pines, FL
Kaluz Pembroke Pines is a ground-up, 9,000-square-foot standalone restaurant designed as a highly visible landmark, balancing a strong architectural presence with warm, inviting dining experiences.

Positioned within a prominent commercial corridor, the building establishes a contemporary identity for the Kaluz brand while responding to its high-traffic setting. Clean lines, layered roof forms, and expansive storefront glazing define the architectural expression, creating transparency and visual energy from the street. The glazing blurs the boundary between interior and exterior dining, reinforcing a seamless connection to covered outdoor seating areas.
A clearly articulated entry sequence anchors the façade and guides guests into the restaurant with ease. Thoughtful massing and material transitions break down the scale of the building, maintaining a polished aesthetic that feels approachable rather than imposing. Durable, high-quality exterior finishes and carefully coordinated detailing support long-term performance while reinforcing brand identity.
Inside, the layout is organized to promote natural flow between the main dining room, bar, kitchen, and outdoor seating areas. Clear sightlines into the kitchen add energy and authenticity to the dining experience. Developed in collaboration with ID & Design International (IDDI), the interior design complements the architectural framework and enhances the overall guest experience through cohesive materials, lighting, and spatial planning.
