HMS Host Concessions at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)

The work introduced modern, traveler-focused destinations designed to enhance the passenger experience and improve operational efficiency.

As Architect of Record, PGAL worked closely with HMSHost and Environetics to assess existing conditions, verify dimensions, and develop fresh concepts tailored to each site’s unique constraints. Many of the spaces had undergone multiple renovations over time, resulting in outdated infrastructure and inconsistent layouts.

The design approach prioritized flow, visibility, and accessibility while aligning with tenant branding and airport guidelines. Updated finishes, lighting, and spatial planning replaced aging venues with cohesive, high-performing environments that better serve both travelers and concession operators.
