PGAL partnered with the City of Terrell to design a new General Aviation Terminal to enhance the visitor experience and celebrate the airport’s historical significance. This single-story, 4,900-square-foot facility provides a welcoming gateway for pilots and guests, anchored by a distinctive octagonal tower that subtly references the airfield’s World War II-era British flight training program.

The building layout balances comfort and function, with a public lobby, pilot lounge, briefing room, conference room, offices, and a staff break area. A curated display near the entry honors the airport’s aviation legacy with historical memorabilia that connects the new terminal to its roots.
