In total, the expansion added 142,000 square feet of warehouse space and 27,000 square feet of office space to support daily operations, regional management, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) inspection services. These upgrades enhance FedEx’s logistics capacity across Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the United States, offering greater flexibility for temperature-sensitive shipments.

The facility includes multiple temperature-controlled zones ranging from -25°C to 25°C, with specialized areas for frozen, refrigerated, and ambient goods. Dedicated healthcare and perishables spaces, a cold-lock dual door system, and cross-dock trailer access ensure product integrity throughout the handling process.
