The single-story facility is organized around an open reading room, with clearly defined zones for children, teens, and adults. Each age group has direct access to outdoor space, including a children’s garden and an adult reading garden, extending library use beyond the building. A large multipurpose room supports community gatherings and programs, while quiet study areas and technology-enabled collaboration spaces offer options for both focused work and group activity.

The design responds to everyday community needs through practical amenities integrated into the plan. A drive-through book drop improves convenience, and a food pantry located off the entry vestibule provides discreet access to refrigerated and dry goods made available through local partners. Public computing stations expand access to digital resources, while efficient staff work areas support daily operations and clear sightlines throughout the building.

Developed in close coordination with library leadership, the layout prioritizes intuitive circulation, ample daylight, and adaptable spaces that can evolve alongside a growing population. The result is a welcoming library that serves as both a neighborhood resource and a hub for shared learning.
