PGAL was the lead design firm in a joint venture to deliver the Consolidated Rental Car Center (ConRAC) at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, a state-of-the-art facility that consolidates all rental car operations into one efficient, customer-focused destination.

The program includes a four-level, 128,000-square-foot customer terminal that houses 12 rental car brands. Two four-level garage structures totaling 2.8 million square feet provide 8,700 spaces for ready, return, and storage vehicles, supporting high-volume, quick-turn operations.

Seven separate quick turnaround areas (QTAs) are equipped with 140 fuel dispensers, 32 car wash bays, 16 light maintenance bays, and storage for 4,000 vehicles.

To ensure seamless connectivity, the facility links to the airport’s central terminal and the Georgia International Convention Center via the ATL SkyTrain,  a 1.5-mile elevated Automated People Mover (APM) that operates 24/7.
