Consolidated Quick Turnaround Facility at Des Moines International Airport (DSM)

Situated on a 5.6-acre site, the facility supports 600 vehicles and includes 16 fuel positions and five car wash bays, maximizing efficiency while minimizing redundant infrastructure. PGAL conducted operational planning studies to ensure long-term performance for rental providers and financial sustainability for the airport.

To balance shared systems with agency-specific needs, the design incorporates exclusive-use maintenance bays and dedicated administrative areas. This tailored strategy enhances day-to-day functionality within a unified structure.

PGAL also provided strategic support during stakeholder engagement, drawing on national experience to guide negotiations and foster consensus between airport leadership and industry partners.
