Sugar Land Regional Airport exterior

The exterior features a Texas limestone and plaster façade, a standing seam metal roof, and expansive front porches furnished with rocking chairs, creating a welcoming and relaxed arrival experience. A two-story Tom DeLay Air Traffic Control Tower anchors the facility and provides advanced operational oversight.

Interior elements continue the regional theme with limestone walls, two stone fireplaces, and exposed dark wood trusses that introduce warmth and rhythm along the central circulation spine.

Programmed spaces include an executive lounge, conference and meeting rooms, airport concessions, U.S. Customs processing, and rental car areas. Pilot and crew amenities feature private sleeping rooms, showers, a flight planning room, a flight school, a library, and a shared living room designed to support extended stays and in-transit comfort.
