Located on a 25-acre public works campus, the building is one of four coordinated facilities designed to improve operational efficiency and public service delivery. The program includes 12 healthy dog kennels and three quarantine kennels that isolate potentially contagious animals to support a cleaner, safer environment.

The facility includes an indoor and outdoor kennel configuration with access to a dedicated dog run that promotes physical activity and socialization. A separate feline ward houses up to 20 cats in a quiet, secure space designed specifically for feline comfort and well-being.

Additional features include medical examination and treatment rooms that support on-site veterinary assessments and routine wellness care. The facility was planned to balance staff functionality, animal welfare, and community outreach, strengthening Seabrook’s commitment to responsible animal care and expanded adoption opportunities.
