City Of League City Helen Hall Library Renovation + Expansion

The phased project began with a new 630-square-foot teen area on the second floor. The original teen space on the first floor was converted into a 1,970-square-foot theater with upgraded seating, a kitchenette, dedicated storage, and an adjacent office to support events and public programs.

Additional improvements reconfigured 2,430 square feet at the entry and primary service areas, introducing an oval-shaped circulation desk with self-check stations, a five-bin RFID book sorter, a book sale room, and modernized, accessible restrooms.

Custom wood slats behind the main desk incorporate a signature tree logo, which continues into the lobby with a green leaf floor pattern to enhance identity and wayfinding.
