The full renovation of League City’s original 1971 Council Chamber and Municipal Court transformed the 4,000-square-foot space to better support in-person and broadcast public engagement. The project also included upgrades to the public lobby, restrooms, an adjacent executive conference room, and a new audiovisual control room.

The redesigned chamber features an 11-seat dais with individual monitors, a movable podium, six-person jury box, and dual integrated video displays framed by wood wainscot, gypsum pilasters, and fabric acoustic panels.

A touchscreen-controlled LED lighting system supports multiple settings, while broadcast-quality lighting enables professional streaming for both online and television platforms. Mechanical, electrical, and acoustic systems were upgraded, and new storefront doors were installed to enhance sound isolation.
