City Of Granbury FBO
Granbury, TX
Serving as a new gateway for general aviation, the FBO terminal at Granbury Regional Airport blends modern functionality with materials and forms inspired by the city’s architectural character. The facility strengthens the airport’s role as both a civic landmark and a catalyst for future development.

The 5,612-square-foot terminal includes a public lobby, pilot lounge, conference room, break area, and multiple administrative and tenant offices. A large, covered patio facing the airfield offers shaded outdoor seating for passengers and crews. At the building’s entrance, a porte cochere provides sheltered drop-off and pickup, reinforcing the terminal’s welcoming presence.
Architectural materials were selected to reflect the regional context, including limestone veneer and integral-color cement plaster. These finishes visually connect the terminal to nearby City-owned buildings and reference the historic Granbury Square, one of Texas’ most iconic downtown districts.
Interior spaces prioritize natural light, intuitive circulation, and comfort. Durable, contemporary finishes such as luxury vinyl tile, carpet tile, and custom laminated wood millwork with quartz countertops create a clean and inviting environment. Positioned next to future hangar and fuel service expansion zones, the terminal is planned to accommodate long-term operational growth at the airport.
PGAL has done a tremendous job of creating a space with amenities for private jet travelers, pilot’s lounge, a modern feel that does look and feel like a coastal FBO.
