City of Dayton Fire Station
Dayton, TX
The City of Dayton’s new Public Safety Complex brings fire, police, and court services together on a 30,000-square-foot campus north of downtown.

The complex was planned as two buildings, with the fire station designed as a dedicated home for the Volunteer Fire Department and the second facility housing police and municipal court functions.
The fire station features four apparatus bays that bring all vehicles under one roof, improving efficiency and response times. On-site dorms support volunteer firefighters during shifts, ensuring readiness for 24-hour service.
To extend its role beyond emergency response, the station incorporates a large meeting space and a commercial kitchen. These flexible spaces accommodate both department activities and community events, reinforcing the station’s place as a civic asset in addition to its essential public safety function.
