The scope included upgrades to the council chamber, audiovisual control room, executive conference room, and select areas within the city secretary’s office. Familiarity with the building’s construction helped the team anticipate existing conditions and minimize surprises during construction.

Although the footprint remained unchanged, the space was updated with new finishes and infrastructure. The concealed plaster ceiling above the lay-in grid was removed and replaced, requiring careful coordination of HVAC, electrical, and fire protection systems. The result was improved long-term access and system maintainability.
