Cassara Carlsbad Tapestry by Hilton

Developed in partnership with Grand Pacific Resorts, the project repositioned the former Grand Pacific Palisades as a boutique hotel within Hilton’s Tapestry Collection.

The phased renovation included approximately 33,000 square feet of updated guest rooms and 19,000 square feet of new family suites. Each of the 29 suites was designed for flexibility, with dual sleeping areas and adaptable layouts to accommodate a variety of guest needs. Upgrades to the main lobby and third-floor multipurpose space improved operational flow and enhanced the overall guest experience.

Blending coastal Mediterranean character with California casual style, the refreshed public spaces feature hand-painted glazed tile, marble surfaces, bronze accents, and wrought iron detailing. The lobby and bar offer a range of seating options that support different guest experiences in a warm, welcoming environment.

Located adjacent to LEGOLAND California and within walking distance of area beaches, the property offers an elevated hospitality experience for families and leisure travelers. The redesign honors the spirit of the original resort while aligning with Hilton’s brand standards.
