Aventura Cultural Arts Center

A transparent, light-filled lobby includes a ticket box office, café, and administrative offices, with floor-to-ceiling glass walls offering uninterrupted views of the bay. These visual connections between interior and exterior spaces reinforce the center’s civic presence and enhance the visitor experience.

Art and architecture intersect throughout the design. A terrazzo floor by local artist Edouard Duval-Carrié captures the vibrant colors and marine life of the Atlantic, grounding the space in its coastal context. Outside, a sculptural porte-cochere, distinctive columns, and an open plaza create a welcoming arrival sequence that links directly to the Baywalk. The plaza also functions as an outdoor venue for performances and public gatherings.
