Three PGAL Projects Honored by ABC Houston

A trio of PGAL projects earned recognition in the 2018 Excellence in Construction Awards, sponsored by the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) of Greater Houston.

United Airlines’ new Terminal C North at George Bush Intercontinental Airport and the Texas A&M University Chemistry Building renovation received ICE Awards (the highest award level). The WeWork co-working space at 708 Main Street received a Merit Award.

ABC Greater Houston also presented the Best of Houston Award, which recognizes the highest-scoring project in the competition, to United Airlines’ New Terminal C North.

“It’s an honor for our work to be recognized alongside Houston’s finest design and construction firms,” says Mike Helman, Associate Principal of PGAL. “We’re grateful to our clients and construction partners for the opportunity to help shape the region’s most significant projects.”

Established in 2000, the annual Excellence in Construction Awards recognize outstanding commercial and industrial construction projects that excel in safety, quality, ingenuity, and workmanship.

ABC is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 21,000 members nationwide.
