PGAL Recognized for Leadership and Collaboration on Terminal B
At a recent All Hands meeting, members of the PGAL Terminal B team were recognized for their contributions to one of the most complex aviation projects currently underway. The acknowledgment was a meaningful moment and a reflection of the coordination, technical expertise, and teamwork required to move a project of this scale forward.
Terminal B is a dynamic construction environment where design, engineering, and field teams collaborate daily to solve challenges in real time. From interiors and finish coordination to MEP integration and long-range infrastructure planning, the work demands both precision and adaptability.
Rashmi Anur, Senior Associate, plays a key role in leading Construction Administration for the terminal interiors. Through careful review of submittals, shop drawings, and evolving field conditions, she ensures that every material and architectural element aligns with the overall design vision. Coordinating interior finishes at this scale requires constant cross-checking and alignment, which she describes as a “real-life game of Tetris,” where each piece must fit seamlessly within the larger composition.
Luis Perez, AIA, LEED GA, has been instrumental in coordinating MEP systems in partnership with Jacobs Engineering and the broader consultant team. His work includes RFI responses, submittal reviews, drawing updates, site walks, and mockup evaluations, helping align multiple disciplines within a highly technical construction environment. He is also contributing to conceptual studies for future infrastructure improvements that support the terminal’s long-term vision.
Large-scale aviation projects are defined by collaboration. The recent recognition highlights not only the leadership and dedication of Rashmi and Luis but also the collective effort of the entire Terminal B team.
As part of the recognition, Rashmi and Luis were presented with a commemorative coin honoring their contributions to the project. We are proud of the commitment driving this project and look forward to seeing Terminal B continue to take shape!
