Carl Conner joined PGAL in 2020, bringing over 30 years of architectural experience and a passion for creating spaces that enhance lives. His extensive portfolio includes projects in the commercial, civic, higher education, hospitality, performing arts, and multifamily sectors. Carl’s design approach is rooted in storytelling and context, guided by deep collaboration and a strong connection with clients.
A thoughtful leader and dedicated mentor, Carl is committed to design excellence and elevating those around him. He thrives within PGAL’s entrepreneurial culture, appreciating the freedom to lead with integrity and creativity. His diverse background, including 13 years running his own design firm in the Midwest, gives him a broad perspective and agility in tackling new challenges.
Carl earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Ball State University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. Now based in the South, he continues to bring vision, insight, and a client-centered approach to every project
