Lamar University IDIQ Services
Beaumont, TX
Lamar University selected PGAL through an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide architectural services for a series of campus renovation, assessment, and facility improvement projects. The multi-year agreement supports ongoing campus needs through responsive planning, building evaluations, and targeted renovations across academic and support facilities.

Projects completed under the IDIQ contract included condition assessments, exterior envelope evaluations, facade renovations, and building rehabilitation efforts for the Mary and John Gray Library, the Geology Building, the Social and Behavioral Sciences Building, and the Chemistry Building. Additional work included studies for the adaptive reuse of a former industrial facility into a shipping and receiving building, and renovation of the existing shipping and receiving building into a marching band music annex.
Working closely with university stakeholders, PGAL identified building deficiencies, prioritized repair strategies, and developed practical solutions that improved long-term building performance while minimizing disruption to campus operations. Several assignments required careful coordination to address unforeseen structural and envelope conditions discovered during construction.
The phased improvements helped Lamar University extend the life of existing facilities, address deferred maintenance, and support the continued growth and functionality of the campus environment.
