JM Family Enterprises Master Plan
Deerfield Beach, FL
PGAL created a comprehensive 15-year master plan for the headquarters of JM Family Enterprises, an initiative designed to unify and expand the campus to support long-term growth, sustainability, and operational efficiency.

The plan encompasses 10 existing buildings totaling nearly 400,000 square feet, along with two new facilities and future building acquisitions. PGAL’s vision reimagines the campus as a cohesive, pedestrian-friendly environment that supports the evolving needs of JM Family’s major business units, including Southeast Toyota, World Omni Finance, JM&A Group, and JM Service Center.
Key elements of the master plan include the potential rezoning of the site to increase building heights from three to five stories, allowing for greater density and flexibility. Each business unit is housed in its own dedicated building and supported by shared services, structured parking solutions, and enhancements that preserve the original 100 and 111 JM Family Buildings along Hillsboro Boulevard, both dating back to 1968. The plan also emphasizes sustainability and walkability, establishing the framework for a vibrant, forward-thinking corporate campus. The master plan included goals to achieve LEED Gold buildings and potentially participate in the U.S. Green Building Council’s WELL program. JM Family currently utilizes photovoltaics on several buildings, with plans to expand photovoltaic use across the campus.
The original master plan envisioned eight new buildings on campus, including three four-story office buildings, a fitness center, training center, dining facility, central energy plant, and parking garage. It was then modified in late 2020 during the phased construction of Office Building 350 to repurpose the Conference Training Center into an open amphitheater with seating, a welcome center, lawns, and reflecting pools.
Through close collaboration with JM Family, PGAL delivered a phased strategy that balances long-term vision with near-term functionality, ensuring the campus remains adaptable and aligned with the company’s culture and future growth.
