Veleiros at Crystal Lakes EMS Facility
Deerfield Beach, FL
This 3,500-square-foot, single-story EMS facility was developed as part of the new Veleiros at Crystal Lakes community to expand emergency response services in Deerfield Beach.
The station provides living quarters for four personnel and one apparatus bay. Its architectural style incorporates materials and rooflines consistent with the surrounding neighborhood, ensuring a cohesive visual identity. Built to meet Broward County’s essential facility requirements, the structure can withstand wind speeds up to 140 miles per hour and features impact-resistant doors and windows for added protection.
Resilience features include propane service for the kitchen, water heater, and barbecue, along with a diesel generator capable of maintaining full operations for at least 48 hours. The site plan also allows for future expansion of both living quarters and apparatus space as community needs continue to grow.
