Relocated to Holiday Park, the new Fire Station No. 2 occupies a uniquely shaped triangular site bordered by a community college, a mid-rise office building, and a residential neighborhood.
The location provides optimal response coverage while minimizing impact on adjacent parkland.
The 11,000-square-foot, two-bay facility accommodates up to eight firefighters and includes standard substation support spaces such as a community room and storm shelter. The layout emphasizes operational efficiency, rapid response, and strong connections between indoor spaces and the surrounding park environment.
Clerestory windows and expansive glazing bring daylight deep into the interior, while varied façade treatments reflect the character of the site. The result is a compact, high-performance station designed to support both emergency operations and community presence.
