Clark County Fire Station No. 16
Las Vegas, NV
Fire Station No. 16 is the first facility to implement a new prototype developed by Clark County to address evolving emergency service needs.

The 11,869-square-foot station reflects a more cost-effective and adaptable model established through PGAL-led stakeholder charrettes with county officials and firefighters.
The design balances functionality with simplicity, supporting the department’s goal of projecting a civic-minded image. The plan includes a three-bay apparatus wing and a separate dormitory wing with eight individual sleeping rooms and three shared shower and restroom facilities.
Amenities include an outdoor trellis, a secure patio with a built-in barbecue, and specialized rooms for storage, telecommunications, and data. The site layout allows for easy walk-up access during emergencies while maintaining a secure environment for personnel working around the clock.
As the county’s prototype for future facilities, Fire Station No. 16 establishes a scalable model that advances operational flexibility, cost efficiency, and long-term resilience throughout the Las Vegas Valley.
