City of Austin Goodnight Ranch Fire + EMS Station

The station supports continuous operations for both fire and EMS personnel with a program tailored to efficiency, wellness, and long-term durability.

The facility includes four pull-through apparatus bays, training stairs, 11 fire dorms, four EMS dorms, a kitchen and dayroom, outdoor dining, and a gym. These amenities ensure personnel are well supported for the demands of 24-hour service.

Architecturally, the station establishes a bold civic presence through punch windows and colorful, transparent garage doors that allow views into the apparatus bays. The exterior cladding uses high-density fiber cement panels in ten colors, a virtually maintenance-free system that is non-combustible and UV resistant.
